Josh Mac
After earning his license in cosmetology, he began working as a barber in a few locally owned barbershops. He then landed a job at Waynes Barbershop where he spent a total of eight years working and building the skills and knowledge for the industry which he holds today. Joshua held great passion in the barbering industry and only wanted to continue to excel higher. He invested his time to partner with companies such as Sharpfade, EZ-BLADE Shaving Company, and Suavecito Pomade to name a few. Joshua has proven to be determined at being the best he could be after being awarded third place out of twenty barbers at a barber competition in Brooklyn New York.

I started cutting hair because I hated waiting in lines and liked a good fade, went to school, met Josh there, worked a 9-5 after school was over, gave up on cutting hair, lacked motivation,josh kept coming by my job asking if i still wanted to cut hair, I kept brushing him off until one day, and the rest is history!

I’ve found this passion later in life , and Went to Aveda Institute and apprenticed at a few shops. Steadily building experience and clientele along the way. I’ve come to enjoy the clients relationships as much as the craft itself. Attention to detail is important to me , In the consult and in the Cut. As a Submarine Service vet from the 80’s. I really enjoy being in the mix here in Groton too.
